Opt-in & Messaging Consent

1. SMS consent & opt-in
Recoverly AI offers an SMS program for users who voluntarily opt in to receive promotional and marketing text messages. Consent is collected through a separate, unchecked SMS consent checkbox on our website forms and is never a condition of purchase. The same principle applies to every other channel we use — email, WhatsApp and phone calls: each channel has its own explicit opt-in.
2. How users opt in
- The user enters their phone number and/or email in a website form.
- The user voluntarily checks the SMS consent checkbox (unchecked by default).
- The user submits the form.
- The user may then receive SMS marketing messages from Recoverly.
- The user can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
3. Types of messages we send
SMS messages are promotional and marketing-oriented and may include:
- Abandoned cart reminders
- Promotional offers
- Limited-time discounts
- Customer re-engagement messages
- Subscriber updates
4. Example SMS messages
- "Thanks for signing up! You'll receive exclusive offers and updates. Reply STOP to unsubscribe."
- "Your cart is still waiting. Complete your order today and check available offers. Reply STOP to opt out."
- "Special offer available for subscribers. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help."
5. Message frequency
Message frequency may vary based on your activity and our campaigns. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
6. Opt-out instructions
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from Recoverly. After replying STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further marketing SMS will be sent.

8. Email communications
By opting in to email, you agree to receive product updates, newsletters, onboarding sequences and occasional promotional messages from Recoverly. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer, and we honor opt-outs immediately. Transactional emails (account, billing, security) may still be sent while your account is active.
9. WhatsApp communications
By opting in to WhatsApp, you agree to receive onboarding, support and priority product updates on WhatsApp. Messages are delivered through the WhatsApp Business Platform and are subject to Meta's terms. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP in the WhatsApp thread or by contacting hello@recoverly.io.
10. Phone call communications
By opting in to phone calls, you agree that Recoverly may contact you at the number you provided for onboarding, support and account-related conversations. Calls may include automated or AI-generated voice. Carrier rates may apply. You can revoke consent at any time by asking the agent to remove your number or by emailing hello@recoverly.io.
11. Data and consent privacy
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Phone numbers, email addresses and messaging preferences are stored securely and used only to deliver the communications you have opted in to receive. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
